Specialist, Accounts Payable

Golden State is hiring an onsite accounts payable specialist for its San Francisco finance team. The position receives and verifies vendor invoices, checks purchase-order coding, initiates approved payments, reconciles vendor statements and investigates discrepancies. It also maintains vendor master data, reviews employee expense reports, supports annual 1099 preparation and responds to vendor and internal payment inquiries. Candidates should bring at least two years of accounts payable or general accounting experience, a bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration, advanced Excel capability and familiarity with ERP, AP-automation and travel-and-expense systems. Knowledge of Coupa, NetSuite or Concur is preferred. Strong organization, discretion, accuracy and communication are required.
