Sr. Director, Live Events

Amerant Bank Arena is seeking a senior live-events leader to oversee logistical planning and execution for hockey games, concerts, family shows, sporting events, corporate programs and other venue activities. The role manages relationships with promoters, clients, vendors and internal departments; supervises event managers and coordinators; develops event plans, cost estimates, facility maps and operating procedures; and helps ensure safety, readiness and guest satisfaction. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, along with at least seven years of event-management experience. Expert AutoCAD ability, 24/7 software experience, strong project management and facility-operations knowledge are required. The position is onsite and requires flexible evenings, weekends, holidays and on-call availability.
