The University of Saskatchewan (USask) began in 1907 and has housed varsity teams since 1911. The current Huskie Athletics program provides an elite experience to more than 400 student-athletes on 15 different athletic teams: men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s cross-country, football, men’s and women’s hockey, men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s track and field, men’s and women’s volleyball and men’s and women’s wrestling.
